Manufacturer appoints new president
A “metal solutions” manufacturer has appointed a new president.
Marne-based DeWys Manufacturing appointed Mark Schoenborn to the role, effective Jan. 1.
He replaces C.T. Martin, who was president for the past five years and has now transitioned to serving on the company’s advisory board.
Under Martin’s leadership, DeWys “launched as a full-service contract manufacturer, gained market diversification and maintained steady growth,” the company said.
“The succession plan has been in progress for a few years while we have engaged with many experts outside of the company,” said Jon DeWys, CEO and chair of the DeWys Manufacturing advisory board. “Mark is a proven leader and will transition the family business with a unified vision.”
Schoenborn brings over 24 years of experience in various positions at DeWys Manufacturing to his new role.
He will strive to help the company expand its technology, operational excellence and sales growth to ensure DeWys’s long-term stability.
Founded in 1977, DeWys Manufacturing is “a complete metal solutions company” with six subsidiaries that offer precision sheet metal, machining, powder coating, contract manufacturing, stainless solutions and product assembly services.
The company has 200 employees and 160 clients in 11 industries.
