Shannon Wilson

Shannon Wilson is executive director of the nonprofit Grand Rapids African American Health Institute. She’s focused on improving the health and well-being of residents in the area. Ms. Wilson is passionate about strengthening the health care safety net for vulnerable populations and has devoted most of her career to studying the intersection between health and race, with a desire to improve the health care experience for minority populations.
