Hispanic chamber names award winners

More than 500 people gathered last night for the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala.

The event featured six award winners and a keynote address by Jake Beniflah, executive director of The Center for Multicultural Science, a nonprofit in Los Angeles.

Eva Aguirre-Cooper from WOOD TV 8 emceed the night at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville.

The chamber is based in southeast Grand Rapids.
